Welcome to the unofficial 131st (City of Glasgow) Field Regiment Royal Artillery website.
This website has been built as a memorial to those who lost their lives serving in the regiment and also as an information resource for those who wish to learn more.
These are the casualties of the 131st Field Regiment, Royal Artillery during World War 2, taken from the Database of The Commonwealth War Graves Commission. Each memorial includes a location map and photograph where available.
Transcribed war diaries from the regiment. Compiled by the commanding officer on a daily basis, the war diaries provide detailed
information about the whereabouts and actions taken by the regiment.
The Personal Stories section include stories and accounts written about the Regiment, it's members and those affected by it.
Each one provides a unique perspective from different sources.
The picture gallery contains a collection of photographs of the regiment, it's members, their families and ancestors in the current day.
The guestbook is a place to leave feedback about the website, any memories you may have about the regiment, or anything else you
would like to share.
If you would like to get in touch directly, contact details can be found on the Contact page. I would love to hear from anyone who has any information about the regiment.
